NOTE: No one can change God's "law" or "will" after His death. Death is final and seals it forever. 

Scriptures say Luke 23:56 (NKJV) they rested on the Sabbath.
      Can you find any reference about anyone even visiting Jesus' grave on the Sabbath?

My personal opinion is that if God changed the day of rest, it should of been changed to Friday. Friday, Christ suffered and died for all sin. 

The first day of the week, had nothing to do with sin.

Healing on the Sabbath
